Quick Summary

• Local-first. Your photos, labels, and item data are stored on your device.
• No account. No cloud. We don’t run a backend and we don’t require sign-in.
• Optional Photos save. You may choose to save an item photo to your iPhone’s Photos library.
• Reminders are local. Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally (no push server).
• No tracking. We don’t use third-party ads or analytics SDKs.
• Support only. If you email us, we’ll use your info only to respond.

We don’t upload your content to servers because we don’t have servers for WhereMate.

Scope

This policy describes how the WhereMate iOS app and its in-app settings handle information. It does not cover third-party websites, app store listings, or platforms outside our control.

Information We Process

1. On-Device Content (stored locally)

Item photos, annotations, labels, dates, and reminders are stored in the app’s sandbox. They are never transmitted to us or third parties.

2. Optional Photos Library Access

If you enable “Save to Photos,” a copy of your item photo is saved to your Photos library under Apple’s policies.

3. Local Notifications

Reminders are generated and delivered locally. We do not use remote push.

4. Purchases & App Store

Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details, only anonymized sales reports.

5. Diagnostics & Crash Reporting (optional)

If you opt into Apple’s “Share with App Developers,” we may receive aggregated crash logs. These do not directly identify you.

6. Support Communications

If you email us, we’ll receive your address and message, used only for support.

What We Don’t Do

• No user accounts
• No cloud sync operated by us
• No advertising SDKs
• No behavioral or cross-app tracking
• No selling or sharing of personal information

Your Rights & Choices

Manage permissions in iOS Settings → WhereMate. Delete items inside the app or by uninstalling. For support data deletion, email us at info@ontimetraveling.com.

Children’s Privacy

WhereMate is a general-audience app. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
